After laser removal of a papilloma or keratoma, it is necessary to protect the skin from sunlight, or more precisely, from ultraviolet rays. This means that even on a cloudy day, the skin needs high-quality protection for at least 2 months.

Facial skin recovery usually takes about 5–7 days or slightly longer. A protective crust forms over the treated area and must not be touched, scratched, or removed manually.

Regularly apply the professional aftercare cream provided by the clinic. The treated area should remain continuously moisturised during the healing period.

Do not rub or scratch the treated area, as this may cause local inflammation and infection.

Sun protection is essential. Apply SPF 50+ every day for a minimum of 2 months following treatment, even on overcast days.
