Icoone and T-Shape are often talked about as two versions of the same idea. Both are body-contouring treatments, both use vacuum and movement — but they do not work with the same force, the same technologies or the same treatment goal.
If your goal is a firmer, more contoured shape, that difference is the whole point.
Icoone is a refined roller-vacuum treatment. Its Roboderm heads create thousands of micro-points of stimulation per minute, and selected laser models add laser and LED light on top.
It can be a comfortable and gentle option for sensitive or vascular skin, and it is often used for drainage, lymphatic flow, smoother skin texture and that lighter, de-puffed feeling.
For many people, that can feel like a real result. But it is important to understand what kind of result it is: Icoone mainly works with tissue stimulation and fluid movement. It does not use radiofrequency heat — and heat is what changes the picture when the concern is skin firmness.
T-Shape works on another level because it combines three technologies in one treatment.
This is the part Icoone does not have.
When these technologies work together in the same session, T-Shape can support fat reduction, drainage and skin tightening at the same time. In practice, you come in for one treatment and receive a multi-technology body-contouring protocol.
This is where the choice becomes important.
After weight loss, the skin often stays softer, looser and less toned than the new body shape underneath it. Drainage alone may help with heaviness and puffiness, but it will not necessarily address laxity.
Firming loose skin requires a collagen response, and a collagen response is strongly linked to controlled heat.
A cold roller-vacuum treatment can leave the body feeling lighter while the loose skin looks much the same. T-Shape is designed for exactly this type of concern because it works on both the fat layer and skin firmness in the same visit.
If your main concern is drainage, puffiness, skin texture and a gentle non-thermal treatment on reactive skin, Icoone may be suitable.
If your goal is a firmer, tighter and more contoured result — especially when loose skin is part of the problem — radiofrequency becomes important.
This is why BeautyGene works with T-Shape for body contouring. It allows us to combine vacuum roller massage, low-level laser and radiofrequency in one protocol, rather than treating drainage, fat and skin laxity separately.
If you have lost weight and one area still does not hold its shape, book a consultation. We will assess your skin, tissue quality and goals, and tell you honestly what may be suitable — including when a treatment is not the right option.
Is T-Shape the same as Icoone?
No. Both use vacuum and mechanical stimulation, but T-Shape also combines bipolar radiofrequency and low-level laser. Icoone works without radiofrequency heat, using micro-vacuum stimulation with laser and LED light depending on the model.
Does Icoone tighten skin?
Icoone is mainly aimed at drainage, connective tissue stimulation and skin texture. Firming skin that has lost elasticity usually requires controlled heat to support collagen response, which is why radiofrequency is important for tightening-focused protocols.
How many T-Shape sessions will I need?
It depends on the area, skin quality, tissue condition and your goals. There is no single number that fits everyone. A consultation is the best way to assess expectations before committing to a course.

If this concern feels relevant to you, a consultation can help us assess your case properly and recommend the most suitable treatment plan.
