WHAT IS CO2 LASER AND HOW DOES IT WORK ?
The СО2RE Candela laser is a type of ablative fractional carbon dioxide laser. This fractional laser works on the principle of local action and at the same time can affect superficial and deep layers of the skin, controlling the intensity, pattern and depth of the action. As a result, the process of skin regeneration starts, cells begin to produce collagen and elastin, the skin becomes healthy and smooth again.
Removes Sun Damage
Drastic Reduction in Wrinkles
Works on Pitted Acne Scars
Completely Transforms Skin
Non-Surgical & Safe
After your CO2RE treatment, your skin will feel tightened and smooth. Lines, wrinkles, scars and pigmentation will be reduced and your skin will feel renewed and refreshed. You will see visible results after a few weeks and even 6-12 months after the treatment, you will continue to see the benefits.
If your skin has lost elasticity, aged prematurely, been damaged by the sun and you have deep lines, wrinkles, pigmentation or acne scarring, CO2RE is the ideal treatment. CO2RE has the unique advantage of four different treatment modes that can be tailored to your skin condition. Whatever your skin concern, the advanced CO2RE laser has a treatment mode that can produce dramatic results without the associated cost and downtime of invasive surgery.
It is expected that you will experience a burning sensation in the treated area and your face will develop some swelling. This is perfectly normal and should subside after around 24-48 hours.
Over the next few days, your face will start to feel tight. A yellowish serous fluid could also start to weep from the treated areas and it’s not uncommon for crusts to develop. Again, this is perfectly normal and is a good indicator that fresh skin is being grown underneath.
Over this period, it’s not unusual for your face to start feeling a little itchy. However, it’s imperative you avoid the temptation to scratch, as this could increase the risk of scarring. For advice on how to prevent itching from becoming an issue, contact our team for specialist guidance.
After approximately ten days, your skin will have largely healed and be free of any crusted areas. It will still remain pink for a little while longer though, but this will settle progressively over the following weeks.
Inflammation in the treated area
Any acute bacterial or virus infection
Blood clotting is affected
No anticoagulants to be taken
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
